Saudi Aramco’s Domestic Refining and NGL Fractionation team is seeking an experienced Utility Process Engineer to join the Operation Engineering Division of Jazan Refinery complex. The Utility Process Engineer’s primary role is to provide engineering technical support to Jazan Utility Facilities. The operation engineering division is responsible provide high value engineering support for Jazan Refinery Complex targeting safe, optimum, efficient, and reliable performance and maximizing profitability. The refinery will have the capacity to process 400,000 BPD of Arabian Heavy and Arabian Medium crude oils to produce gasoline, ultra-low-sulfur diesel, benzene, and paraxylene. This is an expatriate opportunity located in Saudi Arabia.
As the successful candidate, you will have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
Minimum of 9 years’ experience in utility facilities including reverse osmosis, demin water treatment, very high pressure steam generation (above 100 barg) and waste water treatment plant with biological and metal treatments.
Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details and international standards and specifications.
Process Engineering experience which includes engineering analysis and the development of recommendations and alternatives in the solution of complex problems related to company process units. This includes the recognition of problems, thorough analysis, development of comprehensive program and implementation to improve operation. Assignments require extensive knowledge and experience in order to interpret apparently related factors, develop and apply novel calculation methods and program and evaluate testing to provide data and confirm conclusions.
Capability of handling projects and design to perform a variety of complex engineering functions such as developing or reviewing requirements of project proposal and detail engineering as well as participated in pre-commissioning, commissioning of new facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Provide daily support to OME team
Troubleshoot any problems that arise with manufacturing.
Perform optimization analysis, forecasts, economic reviews and evaluations on equipment and projects, operations and system operating strategies.
Perform supply and demand balances.
Conduct investigations to determine the root cause of specific issues in the plant.
Develop and review design packages to improve facility flexibility, reliability and profitability.
