We are seeking a Metal Evaluator to join the Industrial Certification Division (ICD).
The ICD is responsible for training and assessment of employees and contractors through certification programs, to ensure that everyone is fully certified to perform tasks to international standards.
The primary role for the Evaluator is to conduct quality assurance reviews on local training centers and contractors in the field, to evaluate if they are complying with the Contractor Workforce Qualification Assessment Program. In addition, the Evaluator is required to support job certification initiatives of Saudi Aramco Affiliates. The Evaluator will also be responsible to conduct evaluations on Job Task Standard (JTS) tasks in the in the Oil and Gas facilities in the company.
As the successful candidate you will hold a bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: English, mathematics, chemistry, physics, engineering, or information technology. A master’s degree is desirable.
You will have 8 years experience in academic education or vocational training. This should include a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in instructional design of training programs, development and evaluation, curriculum, and test development.
You must have fluency in English.
You must have experience in evaluations on Job Task Standard (JTS).
You must have a strong background in educational psychology, adult learning, evaluation methodology, educational testing and measurement, and educational computer/media/technology applications, and/or a certificate in education is desirable, e.g., teaching diploma.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Conduct quality assurance reviews on local training centers and contractors in the field, to evaluate if they are complying with the Contractor Workforce Qualification Assessment Program (CWQAP). In addition, they are required to support job certification initiatives of Saudi Aramco Affiliates.
Conduct Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs) on local training centers on a regular basis.
Conduct QARs on contractor technicians in Saudi Aramco facilities, as mandated by the CWQAP.
As a team member, support Corporate Maintenance Services in reviewing and recommending local training centers for implementing the CWQAP.
Assist joint venture organizations (Saudi Aramco Affiliates) on their job certification requirements and employee development activities.
Support development of tests and curriculum for qualification tests and remedial training, as required per the CWQAP.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations for T&D Management or the Saudi Aramco Maintenance Council on the statistics of the assessment of the Contractor Workforce.
Conduct JTS task evaluations (qualitative and safety) on complex and advanced systems in different oil and gas facilities.
Maintain all records for task evaluations and ensure that the JTS task evaluation entries are accurate in SAP/CP.
Discuss with the employee’s supervisor the progress of evaluation and any safety violations.
Develop weekly and monthly evaluation and recertification statistical reports for different line organizations.
